Director of Community

We built Question Jam to help educators and facilitators create a world where people are curious together.

Since we beta-launched the question-driven edtech-tool 10 months ago, pioneering educators from across the globe have used Question Jam to unleash their students' curiosity, and we are now ready to take the next step.

We are looking for an energetic person who wants to take on a core role in bringing Question Jam to the next level. This is a part-time position in a non-profit association.

This is a great opportunity if you are passionate about helping educators create a classroom environment where students are engaged and eager to learn - you can combine it with a full time job, or with other commitments.

Your main responsibilities

  • Launch Question Jam into the world - ensure that all educators know about Question Jam and many of them use it

  • Build community - interact with our amazing pioneer users and learn from them to bring more educators into the circle

What we are looking for:

  • Knowledge of education space

  • Interest in technology and human curiosity

  • Hands-on independent type with positive energy

  • Ability to dream big and make things happen - also with limited resources

  • Passion for the Question Collective mission of enabling more people to exchange questions with each other

What we offer:

  • Live product with wonderful users across the globe

  • Mission-driven, collaborative, and action-oriented culture

  • Influence on the future direction of Question Jam

  • Opportunity to build your track-record in a tech setting

  • Fully remote - work from anywhere in the world

Question Jam is a new tool which means you will play a central part in charting the journey. We expect you to be closely involved in all strategic decisions such as team-composition, product-development, fundraising, possible commercial models, partnerships, and more.

We imagine you may be a transitioning teacher looking to build your resume in tech. Or a retired marketing professional looking for a meaningful side gig. Or something else we cannot yet imagine.

As for time commitment, we expect that you can work a minimum of 10 hours per week. We also ask that you are willing to commit for a minimum of 6 months - hopefully much longer.

If the description above sounds exciting to you, and you would like to be part of the journey, then please reach out.
